I love history. I love paper. I love to paint. I love art.​



My current style and body of work came from a paper napkin my sister sent me. She had a luncheon at her housing facility and loved the napkin so she sent it to me. I began the process of layering paper and painting with that sweet rose napkin.

My work tells a story. Each piece is layered with information under the subject that defines the piece, sheet music, old advertisements, books. I like to use pieces of ephemera both paper and other materials to add texture  and depth to my work.

Some of the straight paintings also tell stories, what was and what is.

I believe we learn from the past to enhance our lives in the present and I hope my work shows that.
